halfwinchester: (♟ torrents of misery to thy soul)
(OOC: For the sake of having a firm date for my tracking post, JUST GONNA SAY THIS HAPPENS ON NOVEMBER 17TH. :'D)

[Adam's been keeping his ears open, even during times when he'd rather not, and he's picked up a few things about the mansion as a result, up to and including the existence of the clinic. He has nothing against visiting the hospital as a general rule, but a volunteer-run clinic in a magical house in Wonderland? To say he's been hesitant to visit is an understatement, regardless of the fact that people have been recommending he visit ever since the roots retreated.

Managing the many injuries he'd sustained has been painful, extremely so if it involves bending at the waist or flopping around in a nightmare as he tends to do, but pain doesn't translate the same way for Adam anymore. Letting some of the glass cuts grow infected hadn't struck him as a problem until he'd started having to look at the angry red wounds growing puffy at the edges. He'd started considering trying to find the place at that point, partly because he couldn't think of the names of the antibiotics he should take. Thinking vague thoughts didn't seem to help the closet give him what he wanted.

He still isn't all that comfortable with the idea of dropping in on the clinic unannounced, not sure what to expect. No angels have appeared out of thin air to taunt him about his family tree yet, though, and that gives Adam some hope that the day might be a good one.

Or as "good" as a good day gets for him.

He waits until it's quiet and there's no foot traffic to compete with before creeping inside, jeans flecked with some of Toothless' paint. Does it count as stealing if he just takes the stuff he wants? What were the rules when you got dumped into a brand new world?]
